Counterbalance valves from WEBER-HYDRAULIK control the drainage of oil in hydraulic cylinders to enable controlled lowering of pulling loads. The compact design does not require an integrated check valve and this way enables return flow to the pump through a filter, which is particularly suitable for closed systems. In combination with a pipework housing or an intermediate plate, the lowering brake is also available with check valves. Our counterbalance valves have been developed according to automotive standards and are manufactured in compliance with corresponding specifications. The lowering brake is designed for at least 10 million switching cycles. Thanks to ZnNi coating on all exposed parts, it is corrosion-resistant and offers a long service life.
